Heartbreaking news at Riot - the 2XKO team are an amazing group of designers. I hope those that do not find other positions at Riot have the chance to bring their light and talent to new projects, and new teams that will be lucky to have them.

Returning to WoW after 6 years is equally overwhelming as it is familiar.

Well, it finally happened. Haven't played WoW in... how many years? 6? On the off chance, maybe Arthas will finally drop me Invincible.

It's my 11th Anniversary at Riot Games! What a wild ride it's been. We've come such a long way since were just Riot Game <3

Last day before our return to work and, as always, not enough on the checklist got done.

But! Rounding out the break with Avatar 3, Stranger Things 5, and Wicked For Good was a nice way to close it out.

Now it's planning, some light gaming, and the mindset shift back to work.

It’s surreal closing the Stranger Things chapter of my life. What a journey - this story has been such a core memory for my adult life and is tough to have it come to an end.

Congrats to the entire crew and cast, and I only wish the best for all who gave us such an amazing show.

Gosh, I can't believe it's been 30 years. I still remember around this time in 1998 hoping that Red would be under the tree - and it was.

All these years later I still adore these games, even though they have yet to truly realize its potential in gaming. Perhaps Gen 10?

Checking Crono Trigger off the list - what an amazing game that still holds up all these years later. This game and FF6 really did pioneer so much of the modern RPG experience. And that music... so good.

Christmas is complete - I wish the lead up didn't make me feel so anxious.

Christmas vibes are the best, but I have a really hard time relaxing until it's over.

Official on winter break from Riot, and I have more goals than I have time for. So naturally, I'm starting with my gaming backlog.

This year's Worlds already delivering. Seeing Mundo going where he pleases gives me joy.

Today has been great - a little hope restored with the voting results AND Rachel Weisz and Brendan Fraser are returning to work on a new Mummy sequel. Yussss!

I can't think of a single major buyout of an established AAA gaming company resulting in better conditions for gaming communities and consumers.

How can we prevent these communities from being upended and exploited by major corporations?

In other news, Silent Hill f was actually fantastic. For me, it was helpful to experience this story. There's a lot of beautifully horrific allegory to chew on, and it feels like they broached these subjects thoughtfully and with passion.

Never thought that news about Starbucks shutting down would make any difference to me, but in the past two years I became a regular at the cafe near me, which is closing down. I'll miss those baristas - was nice to see them most days, and was a way to get away from the computer. I'll miss them.

The @2xko.riotgames.com team has really killed it - it's been awesome seeing more people jump in the game and see how far its come. This is the first "traditional" fighting game for me, and it's been a blast.
