I've had a new posh, slow close, wooden, toilet seat fitted.
It came with a small add on toilet seat for a very young child, for which I have no use....
..... however, on second thoughts, it makes a novelty picture frame ππ

Avoid July and August, the humidity is overpowering, as I discovered on my first visitπ₯΅
I was on the Japanese coast in 2011, 2 months before the Tsunami. Somewhere amongst all the 1000,s of pics I've got, I took one of a tsunami warning sign on the sea wall.
Hopefully it won't be as bad as 2011, which was a monster quake, approx 9 on the Richter scale.
They'll be fine, thanks.
However following the major earthquake of 2011 and ensuing major tsunami, my Japanese daughter in law lost an aunt on the coast at Sendai.
PS, orange no longer ranks amongst my favourite colour !!
They are olive trees which can thrive in little soil and drought conditions, so OK in pots.

My eldest son and family live in Japan, just north of Tokyo. They felt the tremor from hundreds of Km away but they'll be ok as they aren't on the coast π€π€π€
Perfect evening light on Sunday.
It would have been wonderful to be out on the hills.

Here we go again, Occasionally Lost, seems more appropriate as each day passesπππ
..also we stayed in a cheap hotel in Sitges south of Barcelona, had a shower and washed my hair, it was sea water, gunged up my hair. One of the others did the same(I could have warned him, but that's what friends are for) we ended up going to a barbershop for it all washing out.
Fun memories galore
My old school pal was broke, so we watered and fed him.
Other memories of that trip, we all got a bit tipsy on the ship n I woke up with an intense thirst, remembered there was a coke machine on a corridor, found it, quenched my thirst, but couldn't find way back, so slept on a pile of laundry π€ͺ
I empathise.
Early 70's, self n 2 pals took the car ferry to Bilbao and drove to a footie match in Barcelona.
It was in my pals Triumph Stag, vroom.
Cops stopped us thinking we were ETAπ¬
Arriving back at Bilbao a voice shouted 'Billy Hall' it was an old school pal who'd been hitch hiking around Europe for years.
