I recently found out there is a very active modding scene for old ipods. I don't know what the issues are that you are experiencing, but I'm pretty sure it can be fixed! (As long as you backup the music before the harddrive dies!)

That is fair! I love that there are so many options out there! As someone with big handwriting, I feel that with smaller journal sizes as soon as I paste any kind of stickers or ephemera into my journal I can barely get a few words around it before the page is full 🤣

I love the form factor of a clam shell design, however the longevity of the hinges scares me; even brands that 'usually have no problems' have some examples on the internet where they broke anyway. I'm really enjoying my RG35XX-H as a compromise; its very compact and feels rock solid! 🎮
