So grateful for the reviews! I’m so happy that When Mimi Went Missing is touching so many people ❤️
Thank you so much!
BREAKING: Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez has been released. This is the moment he reunited with his mom.
You know the *only* reason he got out so fast was a reporter live posted about this for hours. And, a large amount of public pressure.
Every time someone gets grabbed, there has to be a robust public response immediately.
"I don't care what the judges think" should be grounds for impeachment for any public official, but especially for key actors in the national security system.
Meanwhile over on the other place, rightwing free speech warriors (this guy is a former DeSantis campaign staffer) are calling for me to be denaturalized and deported because they don’t like my political speech. This is what fascism and racism looks like, folks.
Trump and Rubio have defied a court order. So what’s next?
The “ we hate you. Come visit “ marketing campaign not working.
Go figure.
We’re only two months in, & they’re cancelling research into pediatric brain cancer. They’re deporting US kids with brain cancer. They’re putting millions at risk of malaria, TB, & polio.
I for one will never forgive or forget those who said ‘it won’t be that bad’.
😡
A poster with a b/w picture of Auschwitz, with the text ‘Auschwitz: Not long ago. Not far away’
“When we look at Auschwitz we see the end… It's important to remember that the Holocaust actually did not start from gas chambers. This hatred gradually developed from words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanisation & escalating violence.”

That is both messed up and disgraceful! You can’t just delete history!
Arlington National Cemetery has removed information about prominent Black, Hispanic, and female service members, as well as topics such as the Civil War, from its website.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.
Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.
I thought I should let you all know what is going on over at Twitter ASAP
Spread the word: Elon Musk is indeed deportation-eligible
YES MORE OF THIS: Small federal agency blocks DOGE employees from entering its building www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
This is a lovely appreciation of Katharine Graham, who defied a dangerously unhinged president at the risk of her business, for the good of the people. She was the owner of the Washington Post that Jeff Bezos is too cowardly to be. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...
Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns.
100% of his salary is paid by WA state.
Elon fired him. Share his story.
DOGE’s expenses have risen above 40 million, with weekly costs now exceeding 10 million. We will release an updated DOGE staff list soon.

When Mimi Went Missing features the two Indian American cousins at the center of a dark, twisty YA mystery set in #michigan
EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump Fired the Director of the CFPB. I Interviewed Him. I had the pleasure of interviewing former Director Chopra to talk about his firing, the current status of the agency, and what Americans should know about the CFPB. Let me know what you think, and consider subscribing!
I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?
I keep trying to tell y'all that ProPublica is out here lapping most other outlets. Them, Wired, and the Texas Observer.
As always, @chriswarcraft.bsky.social is a real one.
