Sure, I didn't realize any were actively deployed though. I guess it was only a matter of time. Thanks for the link!

It's funny how none of this of this technology is actually new. The idea of television guidance has been around since the 1940s, and obviously propeller driven aircraft are even older. But when we combine these with a battery you get...very very cheap air to air missiles.

Forget "not another dime", the leadership should be immediately replaced and hit with prosecution.

Time for field safety briefing #152 from your increasingly exasperated neighborhood Ordo Xenos representative.

This angle better showcases the fact that Earth is a water planet. We focus on the land and what's happening on-land because we're land animals. Trees and baby ant-eaters, very photogenic. But the majority of the surface is water, and everything relies on the enormous ecosystem in the water.

A completely based take. In my circle we call this tribal knowledge. While it is fair and reasonable that your experience in a MMOG will depend on which group of players (if any) you align yourself with, "Where is the fun" should never be tribal knowledge.

Freely granted: Female mass shooters are LESS common. Much less common. But the number is not zero.

I've got a Ti-92 myself... a bit beyond pocket sized but definitely a cool machine for its era

Reminds me of the 80's and early 90's when there was a whole string of pocket-sized computers, often easily programmable in BASIC.

Equating Rump to terrorists is kind of insulting to terrorists. Terrorism is when you use violence against civilians in order to effect a political change in their state. Rump kills because he can, not because he has a political goal. He's a sociopath and an emissary of chaos.

Actions to reduce gun violence:
* Address the cost of living crisis which creates extreme stress and despair.
* Give people hope for the future by eliminating the cancer in our government.
* Replace social media with human contact, replace likes with friends.

Bane III design review:

"You can't put ONLY long range missiles on a mech!"
<stare>
<stares back>
<sticks a single one-shot SRM pack on the design while maintaining intense eye contact>
"Sigh."

I mean, we do live in a republic, technically a federal republic, but our *representatives* are chosen democratically.

Check and see if your state is part of the National Popular Vote Pact

When reality itself measurably conflicts with what you believe, you're not an Oppressed Right, you're an Obstinate Wrong.

At the same time there are some things that consume a lot of power that we do actually want, like refining.

The way to do this is probably to give companies exemptions on the cost of their electricity based on the number of human jobs they support downstream i.e. they operate in the real economy

The wealthiest people don't take their income as cash. We need solutions that attack the stupid game games they play with stocks and SBLOCs.

At this point the United States shouldn't be a member of the Security Council either.

This is why every state needs to have the constitutional foundation to immediately recall and replace a representative.

Mr. Golden's price to betray America was 3.5 million dollars, received from a combination of AIPAC and other Israel-aligned lobbies.

If you give a 2 year old a can of paint, then you leave the house for the day and every single surface becomes covered with paint... You don't blame the kid. They don't understand. 2 year olds are literally incapable of being rational actors.

You blame the Congress for leaving them unsupervised.

Sure, but I still believe in providing real answers even if the question was asked in bad faith. Especially where others, more receptive, may be watching. Conspiracies thrive on disengagement.

It seems like a completely sensible question.

Not only does the water help absorb the forces of landing,
* Capsule doesn't require landing gear
* Earth is a water planet, there are more options during mission planning
* Much lower risk of civilian damage from trailing debris or hazmat leaks

So you gave up 30% of your revenue for 440% more sales, which seems like the mathematically correct decision?

If Steam offered a "indies only" tier that had a smaller revenue split, would you have to use fewer of Steam's features? Would you roll into the standard tier after X sales?

Except you also have the option to start on itch.io which as far as I know has NO startup fees or revenue split unless you opt in.

And then you'll say "But Steam's audience is way bigger", and I'll agree with you and ask: how much would it have cost to market to the same audience but not-on-steam

Tax either the corporation's income or the corporation's total compensation (including cash, stock, and perks) to their C-suite, whichever is greater.
