Reposting this because a LOT of people who call themselves allies don’t understand this concept. The title of ally is something you earn through your actions, not your words. I don’t care how many times you tell me you’re an ally, I will be the judge of who I’m safe around.

Incorrect. Every relationship consists of one person who stacks the dishwasher like they’re being awarded points for neatness, and the other who throws it in like raccoon on meth. This is the way.

The math is the same in every city. Bikes and smart bike infrastructure SAVE a huge amount of space. And a huge amount of public money (infrastructure money, public health care money, & much more), a huge amount of ghg emissions, pollution and noise, & much more.

And then there’s what they GAIN us.

That's a rare bird indeed! I thought they'd all gone up to Magnetic Island as rentals. It looks great!

Managed to get out of bed early enough to enjoy sunrise at Jerrabomberra Wetlands this morning. Very happy to sight a couple of Latham's Snipe birds while they are here for the summer. #Canberra #LoveCBR

It was so lovely to get out for a walk after dinner. Daylight saving works well for me I have to say.
Canberra was looking glorious as usual #WeAreCBR #LoveCBR
