I’m ecstatic!! This was my main “achievable” target in Emerald. Caught her on the 4th ball. Will probably evolve her into Ampharos, which is one of my faves!

The big difference is wireless controller mods for my DS consoles. An absolute game changer for hand strain, fatigue.
Plus DS lite consoles run forever in gameboy mode!

I have these installed on a few carts. Handy! One thing to note, the cartridge plastic is aging. Be gentle with the screws or run the risk of a partial or full crack of the housing. Speaking from experience!
After you replace batteries or pay someone to do it, you’ll have to go into Pkhex for the berry fix either way if you have the capability. You can see all of the RTC data in one of the menus, can’t remember which right now.
Here’s a potential solution to battery life anxiety.
Replaced sometime last year and used Pkhex to reset the clocks.

Thank you. I followed your advice and chucked! Turns out Wobb’s pokedex entry explicitly states the species suffers from an eating disorder. I had no idea! That’s why I named him Tummy. I’ll feed em plenty of poke blocks from now on.

I struggle with it as well. Incredibly disruptive and uncomfortable to daily tasks and interests.
For shiny hunting specifically, input redirect on modified 3DS hardware, wireless controller mods for older consoles, and project wave Phoenix have saved my wrists.
