Staging would have to be nearer to what Olly achieved than Remember Monday.

IF it’s a song in a minor key with some interesting messaging and it works well singing live, I’d be very happy rather than sceptical.

If it’s a happy-go-lucky middle of road party song performed behind the computer last seen on Gina G’s performance - I’d be nearer to sceptical

Spain’s decision not to broadcast 2026, puts them out of 2027 too, no? Or is that an old rule, or not applicable to Big5 members?

Although it may initially be about which countries withdraw, it’s worth remembering that the broadcasters who do go this year may face selection issues with a potentially smaller pool of talent to pick from.

I could see some entrants winning local finals and then not going to Vienna too.

I think this was well overdue. My pitch would have been to make (O) of the organisation’s logo an expressive character but it sounds like they are going to do similar with the heart.

Overall feel is very youthful - ✅ for their target audience, not sure what it says to target artists competing in it
