First: hilarious.
Second: A core belief of Trump-brand conservativsm is there are and never have been difficult problems, only dumb leaders without the strength to be cruel enough to solve them.
It's why they always look so baffled when pushing the "more cruelty" button doesn't seem to work.

It’s not an Oilers playoff game if you don’t get one last minute 1am scream 🤝
Late night chaos Oilers are so back
You forgot to mention getting to make a Tkachuk sad.
The two mocks I pay the most attention to are DJ and Schrager because they tend to be the most accurate at predicting what actually happens.
But I did take a look at Jordan Reid’s 7 round ESPN mock. Chris Johnson going at 20 and Ted Hurst at 48 would absolutely break a lot of cheesehead hearts.
This episode is so, so funny. I was hiking in a forest cackling out loud to myself. 10/10.
Incendies and it’s not close.
Walked out of that cinema with my friend and we were silent for 10 minutes.
If people could see the things people say to me on freakin DOG Instagram. And then when I reply in kind they are always so incensed. People truly think they can say anything online and are shocked and distressed when they get treated how they treat others.
As part of tonight’s Sophia Loren showcase TCM is airing what I think is one of the most endearing movies ever made, A Special Day.
Airing super late but if you have never seen it DVR it. It’s a magnificent work that deserves to be so much more known than it is.
Fun story: in law school one of my friends was in a long distance relationship with a guy living in Sudbury. She searched trip advisor for things to do when she went to visit him and in the top 3 recommendations was “take a trip to Toronto” 😂
Broken record on this, but once again evidence of how badly the U.S. is fumbling the economic bag of this century
I need a cigarette
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
All of us enjoying our lives again
💯
I do not understand the criticisms AT ALL.
The point of the show is that they are real humans with real human shit. That means sometimes it’s not nice to look at. That’s all the more reason to tell that story.
Last post: I predicted that @minakimes.bsky.social otherwise excellent ranking was incorrect in having Robbie as flawed and Langdon as very flawed.
It’s been the opposite for almost the entire season and I’m not sure why the last couple episodes set people off. We’ve been heading here a long time!
People mad about Dr. Robby being so mired in his own shit he’s become toxic is very strange.
The whole appeal of this show is its realism in portraying trauma and healthcare workers as real people, but suddenly wanting real portrayals is limited to only if we like them? GREAT season and finale‼️
HOLY SHIT the finale was good.
I guess the anger is from Dr. Robby not being the hero people thought he was? Well… there’s plenty of cable shows for that. There’s NO reason the main character can’t be a deeply flawed, at times unlikeable, person. This is one of the most raw and real portraits on tv
Since I’m already angry…
This feels like the right moment to fire up the S2 finale episode of The Pitt and see what made everyone so mad that I’ve seen nonstop thinkpieces about it for the last 2 days.
Jurassic Park "I really hate that man"
- Jeff Hoffman, demoted from closer role due to general shittiness, entering in the 8th in a 2-2 tie
- "good maybe this will fix him"
- "maybe the pressure of closing was the problem"
- "his underlying analytics are actually pretty-"
- single
- single
- walk
- grand slam
Meme of Ned Flanders with the words I think I hate Jeff Hoffman
ONCE MORE, WITH FEELING
I wonder if this might also be a tell that they think teams 6-9 aren’t believed to be targeting WR in those spots?
Because the Bengals could use defensive talent at almost every position. Unless Jermod McCoy is going to fall for health reasons?
My main non-Giants takeaway from the Dexter Lawrence trade is the Bengals have Joe Burrow but have not made the playoffs since 2022 and that does things to you
Sometimes, you just have to play the hits.
It’s quite insane to me that the Bengals did this but were not at all in on the Maxx Crosby sweepstakes (pre medical shenanigans)
Being able to forgive the Catholic Church for the biggest child sex abuse scandal the world has ever seen but not for them telling you to care about people you are othering…
I guess I’m of the viewpoint that while I’m sure fans would do that I remain unsure if the Packers would, especially if they get a trade down offer they like and want to prioritize more chances after not having the first. Miller being there and trading down anyway would be incredibly on brand fwiw
This is why I feel pretty aggressively pro trade back from 52. Seems like more swings from 60-90 is the best strategy when it looks like all the top corners will be gone.
Are we at crush status yet or hovering in respectfully looking?
The NHL Playoffs? Never heard of her.
