The line must always go up! Look at what’s going on with Magic - sets being released far too often and devaluing their own IP with UB sets. As a Magic player, I’m just exhausted. Can barely keep up with updating my decks.
I fear GW might be headed in that direction if not already.

It's been awhile since I wrote about the behind-the-scenes journey between the decision to pause content creation at Hipsters of the Coast, come up with a new business plan that adapts to the modern world of gaming content creation, and re-launch the site. So I guess expect something by end of year.
I found the site just as it went on a looong break and was bummed cause I love the topics. I still check it once in a while so I was very surprised to see new articles. It’s one of the most unique and best websites about Magic!
It will never happen because money, but I would love Standard to go to a two-year rotation with four sets a year. Standard should focus on mid-range matches. They should have time to breathe and at least develop the board around turn 3. I would think that would be far more fun and challenging.
I love this commentary crew! Great chemistry and really shows the love for the game.
I love all of them but only seen and found out Eilidh and Corey in a recent coverage and they are great too! Very fun and insightful pair.

This was such a fun and intense tournament! For next year please up the monetary prize! 100K divided by 15+ people is something, but not worth repeating thru the matches a thousand times.
That was a really fun match. Maybe the best of the season so far.

That was some amazing high-level volleyball… until the third set. Not sure what happened to Omaha in the third, but nothing was getting thru Austin’s blocks and digs.
Loved her riling up the crowd during the match! She seems to love this new environment in the US. Oh and yeah she was amazing in this match! I say this as a rooting-for-Omaha-the-least fan. :P
What do you think is wrong with LOVB’s branding? I love the uniforms and the pastelish colors to differentiate the teams, courts, etc. I think not having mascots is a problem, but I heard a few guesses as to why not yet (sells the teams to individual owners who can choose their mascot).
Damn, it looked like all defense for SLC and no defense for Houston! Poor Jordan Thompson, nothing was getting thru tonight. :( SLC played really well esp Jones-Perry, Dixon, Fields, um pretty much everyone.
Esp when all the rookies are doing really well as starters! I get it that Wong-Orantes is still one of the best, but it feels like they kind of wasted a selection unless W-O is planning on retiring like really soon?
Really curious what the timeline is for their libero position. I can see Lexi skipping this year, but one would think she should start in the next season, but Wong-Orrantes is still at the top of her game. Mruzik, Franklin, Skinner and other rookies are already starters.
What kind of numbers are they for volleyball? I’m not a big fan of transfer portals, but I guess if you feel you are stuck and see a better option to win a championship, you do what you have to.
It was great to see Franklin in front of a packed home crowd! The highlights however were Chausee, Kojima, and Jones-Perry. I love NCAAWVB, but the skill level in pro-leagues are at another level!
Oh come on, it’s hard enough to follow two as it is. On the bright side, I hope this means that there is a real chance vb can become a real pro-sport. On the other, I don’t want yet another league where the best NCAA players get split up.
