In the older days (pre ~2014), even a multi page report of the run was good enough for that site. The way I've interpreted is that they have valued some strat protection more than the west has. But although things have largely coalesced these days where many runs have a VOD linked, some still don't

Strangely this mostly has been and still is the case for many Japanese runs on the nico leaderboards (mostly relevant for DQ)- they require a live stream at some point, but it can be as little as 1 person watching/verifying, then the VOD is never required to be present and is usually just lost

I'm trying to be charitable but this comes across like it's a burden and you're suffering through it. Not only is PSIV a cool game, it's also an incentive you had for the stream and damn if I was the person who won the game slot and read this, I'd not be thrilled about it. What's it all for then?

That's an interesting case. But it's all made up until they prove it with the run or describe the tech precisely right? Like there isn't an asterisk for unproven runs in general, the best run is a proven one. Also that is obviously lame behavior from them

Played a longtime RPG backlog game, Lost Odyssey. It's got some real cool parts, including awesome cutscene work, characters & early story points, but I didn't like the last chunk of the game very much and I felt that it fell victim to classic uninspiring JRPG endgame tropes. Glad I played though

Hit my goal time in DW4, the last version of DQ4 for me to learn. Now I've got a time in each main version, which are NES, PSX, and NDS. DQ4- pretty good game!

Last week I finished the Tellius draft (Fire Emblem 9 & 10) with mpg/jersey/rename/casusby. Very fun way to play Fire Emblem, and the Tellius games let you do a lot of cool stuff flexibly. FE10 without battle save was completely reasonable. Looking forward to the next one sometime. Fiona my queen:
