It is Republicans vs
-Doctors
-Seniors
-Students
-Educators
-Disabled people
-Workers
-Impoverished people
-Naturalized citizens and immigrants
-People who will be affected by climate change

If you or your family will ever fit into those groups, call your rep.

This is not a democratic process. Holding a vote open in the middle of the night to bully people on a bill wildly unpopular with the public in order to meet an arbitrary deadline. The GOP is refusing to hear input from opponents whether they are Democrats, citizens, or dissenters in their own party.

My family's Medicaid story

Rep. McGovern made a statement at the end that more than 100 Democratic Reps just asked for 1 vote to ENTERTAIN an amendment to protect Medicaid and SNAP.

Rep. Foxx replied, "Wow, that was a riveting gambit."

People's lives--their health and food access--are, according to her, a gambit.

Whoa, I think it's all of them with the Black Caucus first.

Right now, the entire (it seems) House Black Caucus is asking-one at a time- to remove all cuts to Medicaid and SNAP from the bill. Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) is refusing to allow a rule change.

Powerful statement on behalf of the Caucus.
