I find that with CPTSD, it can be hard to identify in yourself what it is that you need. You can't communicate a need if you don't know what it is. It can be trial and error. Mistakes are going to happen, and feelings of shame will only feed into those mistakes and cause them to reoccur.

True, but also people shouldn't weaponize your needs, triggers and issues against you the moment you trust them with that info

We report as the clouds are falling upwards: we are not sure whether it is raining. We think earlier rain is still dripping from trees, and that is why we keep getting cold drops on our face; even then, the sky looks dark enough for rain. Either way, the wind is pushing us home.
