Got news this morning that my 23 yr old cousin was in a motorcycle accident last night & passed away. I was there the day after he was born. He was my rock at funerals & always had a big hug for me. He was a tender hearted, wild child w/no fear. My heart is hurting for my family. Will miss you, Clay

I wonder if I can lie to my family & say I have other plans for Thanksgiving. I really want the food, but don't want the overly crowded house (it's small & about 30 people show up) or the political discussion that may occur. If I had the money, I'd rent a hotel room so I wouldn't be lying.

Got a call from my heart Dr that they wanted to discuss my ECHO results in person. So I worried myself sick all night only to get there & get info that could have been said over the phone. A clot had calcified in my lower heart & need to go back on blood thinners. Not dying so yay!

Bama officially announced no SNAP in November. The food pantries in my area are overwhelmed (even prior to this) so I am going to try not to use it. I'd rather it go to families with kids. My SNAP buys 2 weeks of groceries so I'll feel the impact, but won't starve. Hope this is resolved quickly.

After 2 weeks of a broken foot, I'm over it. My ortho Dr initially said "it's a sprain" after looking at the xray for 20 seconds until I told him what bone to look at 🤦‍♀️ After a CT, I have 2 broken bones & he is still an idiot. I'm too old for this lol

Fractured my right foot today. I haven't had a broken bone since I was 16 & this sucks. 😭 In a boot & gotta call ortho on Monday.

Tomorrow, I'm getting an injection in my back. Was supposed to be sedated, but my cardiologist didn't send the clearance, so now I'll be awake, but numbed. Have had it done like that before & hated it, but I can hardly walk now, so I'll deal with it.

My niece and nephew (ages 6 & 5) decided to take a wine cooler, hide in the tree house & drink it. From what I was told, they were found pretty quickly. Now they're both grounded & I'm being punished bc they can't have their phones 😭
