If Native Americans aren’t citizens, then no one is.

Justices Sotomayor and Kagan have betrayed the LGBTQIA+ community. They may not have been able to stop it, but their dissent would’ve been meaningful.

This will cause irreparable harm to so many young people.

The national guard has been activated in Minnesota.

The Trump administration has called it an act of insurrection.

Welcome to the 2nd American Civil War. It doesn’t get easier from here.

Walz: "What's happening in MN defies belief. News reports simply don't do justice to the level of chaos & disruption & trauma the federal govt is raining down... This long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement. Instead, it's a campaign of organized brutality against the people of MN"

On top of all of this, MANY of our overseas military bases are in NATO European countries and could easily be shut down by their governments with our service members stationed there likely deported back to the U.S. if conflict arose.

Closing the US Military’s Public Trust Deficit - Modern War Institute Imagine a society where the cornerstone of national defense—its military—faces eroding confidence from the very citizens it serves. This crisis is not just a theoretical threat, but a reality reflecte...

The majority of Americans do not trust our military, which leads many service members towards low morale:

The Army Is Losing Nearly One-Quarter of Soldiers in the First 2 Years of Enlistment The Army is grappling with a staggering attrition rate among newly enlisted troops, even as recent recruiting figures suggest the service is clawing its way out of a yearslong enlistment crisis.

While the enlistment shortfalls have been turning around in recent years, ~1/4 of new recruits don’t stay for more than 2 years:

America's Scale Problem - Foreign Policy Research Institute There is a peculiar irony in watching the world's most technologically advanced military struggle with something as basic as making enough bullets. Yet this

Which part, exactly?

We have depleted our ammunition supplies and designed a military industrial manufacturing complex that is ill equipped to sustain itself in ongoing warfare:

But it also would mean that NATO countries aren’t beholden to our military actions anymore, and can more easily oppose us if need be. Our military isn’t what it once was, and frankly the rest of NATO would pose a significant threat to the U.S.’ regime if they were to stand against us.

Stephen Miller, who wants the U.S. to steal Greenland and shake down Latin America, says: ”We live in a world … that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time.”
That‘s a criminal pretending that a civilized world is impossible.

Trump announces $100M deal with Doug Emhoff’s law firm The law firm where Emhoff, the husband of former vice president Kamala Harris, works is the latest to be targeted by the president

I’m not sure how I missed this one, but it’s funny, isn’t it? The woman who went on national television and said that she didn’t anticipate the level of capitulation we’ve seen from the media and others to this administration is married to a man who is a partner at a law firm that’s capitulating…

I’m actually really tired of everyone’s obsession with the Epstein files.

We know Trump is listed in them, we don’t need them to be released to know that.

But what’s really bothering me is that everyone thinks this is going to be his downfall. It’s not.

The impeachable offenses are countless.

The crazy thing is that our government only represents those who DO NOT pay taxes (billionaires, mega corps, etc.)

Hot take: Not only are work requirements for Medicaid bad, tying health care to work at all is cruel and we should be doing it less not more.

Everyone deserves health care. Everyone.

He is not the “head of the government”.

He’s the head of a fascist regime hellbent on taking down our government, and the American people along with it.

He doesn’t care if we remain number one in anything other than wealth disparity.

Honestly though, fuck Melinda Gates. She and her husband, along with every other American billionaire, are complicit in practically every problem the world is facing today.

Rather than just racism, I’d say bigotry overall is our second sin.

I believe we’ll have much more progressive candidates in this race, and I hope with every fiber of my being, that one of them wins. We need a true progressive leader with a backbone to lead the most powerful state in the union—hopefully to lead it OUT of this union.

I begrudgingly voted for her for President, because she was the best option with the highest likelihood of beating Trump.

But her track record in the progressive landscape is atrocious, she facilitated a genocide in Gaza, and therefore she won’t be getting my vote for governor of CA.

What is a nation supposed to do when its leader is publicly committing impeachable offenses on a daily basis and the impeachment process is utterly broken due to slightly more than half of the nation's Congress being members of a cult dedicated to destroying rule of law

This should apply to members of Congress as well.

I think we should have work requirements for the presidency. Limits on golf trips, a mandatory amount of hours worked per week, and clearly defined metrics for their success. If they fail to meet these requirements, they lose their job and the benefits that come with it.

They choose to be cops because it allows them to violently subjugate other people, and you can’t convince me otherwise because if it weren’t the case, our system of policing would be much less hostile to the people it’s supposedly meant to protect. 2/2

I don’t understand how people don’t believe that #ACAB.

If most were decent people, there would be so much internal pushback on the atrocities committed by the police, that the system would change on its own.

Police departments attract the very people who want to be in positions of power. 1/2
