At first, I thought this headline was from The Onion.

Right on cue. Whenever an election doesn't go Trump's way, it was rigged. If it does go his way, it was a landslide.
Will Trump be going to LA to console the family?
No?
I didn't think so. Not exactly his skill set.
You might change your mind if you can find this.
I'm sure that's true, but I doubt that's enough to get her to a win in a general election. New York is not like the rest of the country, and she would be up against the Electoral College, which gives added weight to red states.
I love AOC, and I would love to see her in the Senate. But she will not win a general election for the presidency. She is a lightning rod for the right & they would beat her for the presidency in '28. Maybe things will change & she'll have a shot later. She's young & will be around for a long time.
๐ Very Irish of you.
I would never try to do that to you, Neil.
Hey, @marcelias.bsky.social, could you be more clear, and tell us how you really feel? ๐คฃ
All honor to the voters of Virginia! And to Marc Elias & Co.
Of course you're right. My point was that banning books makes people want to read the forbidden books. Human nature. But I agree with you that removing them from curricula and library shelves is not good.
Someday the president will call upon the 82nd Airborne for a mission, but they won't be able to respond because 20% of the soldiers are down with the flu.
Approximately 45,000 U.S. military personnel died from the 1918 influenza pandemic (often called the "Spanish flu"), though some estimates run slightly higher depending on the source and how deaths are categorized. So, this is a very stupid idea.
When a sitting U.S. president makes insulting remarks about Canada and threatens its sovereignty, Iโll criticize the United States and its administration if I bloody well please. What happens in that country has a big impact in the world, so no, I wonโt โstay in my own lane.โ
Call me skeptical about this one. The SPLC has long been the nemesis of some of the nasty people who constitute part of the Trump regime's base. You know, the deplorable ones.
Lovely to remember a time when we were the good guys.
Rookie error. If you want to arrest somebody, don't tell everybody until AFTER you've got them.
Honestly? The way to get people to read books is to ban them. Works every time.
Several people with signs like this at the Boston Marathon today
well... THAT's pretty eye opening, actually, Mike, to just say it out loud like that.
Did that sound different in your head?
Hey, journalists!
Could you do us all a favour?
Fact check Donald Trump BEFORE you quote him.
Then, if he's lying, we don't need the quote. A simple statement "Donald Trump lied again" will do.
Save us all a LOT of time - you don't have to write a lot of nonsense, we don't have to read it.

#NoKings started here in #Massachusetts, where we celebrate Patriots' Day. We may be woke, but we don't mess around when it comes to resisting tyranny.
I just looked out the window and saw that it is snowing here in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. So, I pulled the shades down.
I hope @ossoff.senate.gov and other Dem candidates keep pounding on the corruption issue. But they must also connect the dots to show how #corruption hurts working people and poor people. That's what Magyar did in Hungary and it brought #Orban down.
Exactly. You can't claim to be a Catholic, or any brand of Christian, and spend your professional life promoting people and policies that are antithetical to the basic tenets of Christianity.
Thanks for posting. Really interesting!
Three guesses - the first two don't count.
That's a quite a set of coincidences.
That kind of money would pay a hell of a lot of teachers a good salary.
