i remember i heard once about a whole novel some guy wrote that didn't have the letter E in it, so i scrolled down this thread and like five people have already mentioned it, haha.

okay cool, i'm moving on may 10th so i'll let you know maybe a week or so from then
i'm almost positive that i have an extra glass section that i could send you, but i'm in the middle of moving to a new place and all my joe stuff is packed up in boxes right now. if you wait until after i move i could try and find it.
yeah i feel the same way about all my recent tmnt and he-man purchases, haha.
the eternal struggle, finding space to display your whole collection
i saw endgame in the theater on day one, i was so excited. i remember the euphoria i felt afterward when i left the theater and thought to myself "it's finally over, that's the last marvel movie i'll ever have to watch." i haven't seen any of the movies since, and i'm a happier person for it.
i make little cards too for items the players buy in town, but i don't try to draw anything, i love that you even drew pictures of the items.
i dunno, i remember those "i fell and i can't get up" ads which informed me at a young age that its very bad to fall down when you're old.
pretty sure my family had that for the atari 2600, if i remember correctly we never understood how to play or what the goal was, so it didn't get a lot of play time, haha.
this morning i went to half price books to sell some books and comics and i got more money than i expected, which was great. and then i sold some action figures at a local vintage toy store and i got more money than i expected there too, even though it was store credit. but a good trip overall.
honestly i've never understood why someone wouldn't wear a band's shirt to their show. i usually do if i have one. when i go to metal shows, anywhere between 25% and 50% of the crowd is wearing a shirt from one of the bands on the lineup.
yeah this was our second time playing it, just me and my friend, hopefully next time we can get a 3 or 4 player game going. definitely a great game all around, lots of cool stuff with the different aliens, and the whole theme is really solid and well-designed.
the board game SETI showing all kinds of tiles and markers on a circular board that loosely resembles the solar system
tonight i got to play a very complicated board game called SETI but we didn't have time to finish it. #boardgames
god they used to play that on my local radio station constantly when it came out, and every time i was like "WHY?? this song sucks so much! it's the worst song on the album!" i'll never understand its popularity, just thinking about that song makes me angry.
shocked to hear that devildriver announced a new album and released the first single the other day. dare i say it, the new song is ... good? i was a huge fan of maker's fury/last kind words era devildriver but they grew kind of stale by winter kills, so i hope the new album is good.
in two weeks i'll have my new apartment. i'm kind of excited but i'm also kind of dreading it.
yeah pretty much. i'm sure right now they're being bombarded with a million deletion requests too.
you have to send them a message on their contact page and ask them to delete the account. they'll email you back to confirm but it might take a few days.
i finally received a reply from the company draft2digital, the one that bought smashwords and was going to charge me a fee to have an account. both my accounts are going to be deleted, probably sometime next week. i don't know if my smashwords accounts will still be active, i guess we'll found out.
in the past week we've had numerous tornado warnings here in wisconsin where i live. well tonight it was storming again, my phone started blaring a tornado warning, and five minutes later my building's fire alarm went off. fun times.
one of the criticisms i've seen is that it presents itself like an area-control mech-based combat game, but its really collecting resources and engine building. when i played, combat seemed counter-productive for the most part. shame really, because i was super excited to play it when it came out.
when i was in high school i asked my dad to rent a movie on pay-per-view. he accidentally rented the wrong one but we figured "whatever, its an action/thriller movie, it should be fine." which is how me and my dad sat in horrified silence watching the movie SEVEN.
i found out today that "pope leo" in spanish is "papa león" and i like that so much better.
yeah i sold mine too. it's a very well-designed game, great theme and production values, and i understand all the good reviews, but i found it kind of boring to play.

jesus christ, give me a heart attack, why don't you
i was on an elevator on a cruise ship. simone simons and mark jansen, two members of the band epica, also got on. then a guy in a deadpool costume, on crutches with his leg in a cast, got on. we all got off on the same level, going to the epica concert the band members were nearly late for.
i was so shocked i couldn't even laugh, i had no idea what was going on, haha.
i remember randomly catching that scene on tv without any previous knowledge of the show or context of any kind. i thought someone had spiked my drink with lsd or something.
absolutely, they waited until they were done transferring over the accounts from smashwords and then dropped a bunch of fees on us. charging the smaller accounts but not the big accounts is just crazy logic. and on top of that they make it hard to delete your account!
yeah they're only charging the fee for the little authors who don't sell many books. if you make over $100 then you don't get charged the fee. basically they don't want smaller authors on their platform at all, even though they bought smashwords which is mostly smaller authors.
