It took me multiple attempts over 6 years but I finally got engrossed... my god, was it worth it. Fantastic combat & bosses inside a beautifully crafted massive world to explore, full of creative secrets and haunting stories. I don't often binge games but this was worth every second.

I heard going in this was a good RPG for non-RPG players... well that's me and it damn well worked. Fun cast of characters, GORGEOUS world (Sabotage never miss) and combat that kept my neurons hard at work all the way through. There's still so much left to do, I hope to revisit this one day.

The mascot horror shell hides beneath it a super well-crafted & engaging survival shooter. It takes an absolutely fantastical universe of loveable faces and turns it into deceptive thriller where every square of inventory mattered. Had me plotting like never before, please do try this out.

I LOVE ROGUELIKES
This is Monster Train 1 but so much more and so much better too. Fleshes out the original's design with brilliant new classes & new mechanics that only add to the game's strategy, all wrapped in a gorgeous art style & unique character-driven story. GOTY candidate, easy.

Goofy as hell and it's wonderful for that. Pacing is a little dodgy, especially near the end, but I've not played a game remotely similar to this ever. Extremely unique & endearing, was a fun way to spend a day. I am definitely responsible for this kid getting bullied more with his outfits.

Fun fact, this is my first ever creature collector! And I couldn't have picked a better place to start, this was fantastic. LOVED all the monster designs & thoroughly enjoyed the stories told in this world. There's so much to do and so many great characters to talk to. Huge thumbs up from me!

Zane's kinda him. Perfect mix of boomer shooter insanity with the edgiest teen you've ever met. The writing brough everything together beautifully, but I was also very surprised at how deep the levels were & how much there was to discover. Was a great time, excited to check out Hypnospace soon.

Above all else, the art style is immaculate. Game's got some creative stuff packed into its short length but man I got frustrated with the controls a lot. Really wanted to like this more. Thankfully I still got a lotta good out of it so yippie. Would recommend to any PSX 3D platformer-heads.
