Not every developers code in English. We encounter a lot of professional developers who don’t speak English and write all the comments and members names in their native tongues. It is very common in China and Japan for instance. Therefore we can’t assume that spell checker should be in English.

Hi @louve.systems , is your PC in French but VS in English ? Visual Studio relies on Windows spell checker, therefore, it relies on the language installed on your machine. If your PC is in French, that would explain it.
Thanks for the feedback! I will consider making this an option :)
Yes it can! There’s an option for that!

I haven't work on #DevToys in months! These kind of comments encourage me to get into again. However, there's another project I have to finish first. Stay tuned.

Ça coûterait combien d'embaucher quelqu'un pour faire la modération pour t'éviter tout ce temps à lire leur connerie ?
Started with Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition! My first finished project made with it was a WinForm app that helped tweaking Window XP. I was 13 or 14 years old at that time.
20 years later and I still use Visual Studio (and now contribute to it) daily!
#GodotEngine 4.4 is finally here! 🚀
Look forward to plenty of quality of life improvements hidden within this release. Faster load speeds, reduced stutter, streamlined processes, and more!

I made a website where you can guess movies based on a humorously badly explained plot (which is generated by AI 🤪)

This is the best use of my app DevToys by a friend yet!
I did treat myself with a small glass!
Today I bought a bottle of rum to make a King Galette... Now I also want to make crêpes with rum, parisian flan with rum, and rum baba (sponge cake with rum and custard cream) 🤪🤤🤤🤤
It's January 2nd, give me a break!
You might have seen this already...
That's true. It opens many more possibilities as it can answer to any question on top of being aware of your sensors. And in the end that's what Alexa, Siri and other will eventually become.
I see ! That's interesting. Maybe I'm too old school (I think I'm younger than you lol), I never got the wish to control lights by voice or ask whether I need sunscreen. 😅
I love these things and at the same time I never picture myself talking to an AI to know the temperature. It feels like opening my thermostat app is faster. Do you have any other use case in mind that an app displaying info can't beat?
