I was surprised to see Cemal Pasha the Great while visiting 25th Sydney Biennale. Artist Lamia Joreige's mixed media project looks to the Levant during the FWW.
Apparently there is no escape from Cemal Pasha.

During the FWW European media recycled photos of the old conflicts as if happened recently. A good example is this alleged photo of a destroyed Serbian gun. In reality this photo was taken after Monastir Battle of the Balkan Wars and showing an Ottoman dead gunner and a 75mm Krupp field gun.
