Just got home from an absolutely lovely bike ride date with @lierxagerate.bsky.social My ebike made it so I could keep up with him. Dinner at Michi then ice cream from Lick. I’m not sure how long the whole trip was, but I loved it. More bike dates are in our future for sure

I’m in a lyft to the airport for a work trip. I always get the worst anxiety leaving for trips on my own. I am able to push through the panic & get to my usual state of general unease, so I’ll be fine. Anyway, what should I do in Chicago today?

3 weeks post-op hysterectomy & it’s hitting so hard. I’m completely exhausted & useless. I can do so little in a day outside of my actual job. But I have so much to do that can’t wait, so I’m just tired. I would have taken short term disability, but I can’t live off 60% of my salary.

I feel like my days are a rolling series of panic attacks. I don’t need perfection, just not the bottom of the barrel. At least I got my hysterectomy done & my problematic ovary removed before the end of the year so it all should be 100% covered by insurance.

At the dermatologist in Japan thanks to an eczema flare up. I had to reassure the dr that yes, I am allergic to hydrocortisone, the most common treatment for eczema. Also I got to walk into a dr office & get my cream for less than $50. I miss living here
