Encoding a spectrogram of goatse into birdsong and teaching it to enough birds that it is passed down through the generations until one day in the future someone is unexpectedly shocked
This is my favorite email I got from a gtld registry after getting very normal, non-suspicious domain (nefarious.download) lol
I did start with howdy, so the texas plates were a given 😅

@dustinfinn.bsky.social here’s the longer video :)
I made a thing!
I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev
It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃
Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something
Howdy! Rig info in the thread above. This was the first test drive, def. a lot of room for improvements and hope to make some of them by the next-next blog post but gotta learn more on signals/rf side. I’m thinking about researching filters and linears to get more bang out of each drive.
Thanks! I’m a fan of those Alfa mag mounts which are fairly practical and help to keep cable mgmt clean. The cable is fairly flat and could tuck under the trunk / weather stripping nicely and avoids having to run to the back seat windows or drill a hole. Granted, I’m sure there is some loss.

Howdy! I’m working on a blog post and hope to have some data points in the next few weeks. I’m testing out different antennas, mount locations, antenna angles, speed, etc. I’ll way more details on why I choose the build and how i would change it. Hopefully below will have the rig info readable.
#wardriving is fun! Hat tip to @dustinfinn.bsky.social for the inspiration to actually finish the rig and take it for a spin. Can’t quite say it’s incognito though…lol
cryptic lyric AIM away message capability would be helpful today
In today’s ‘how I waste my money’ on #retrotech / #hacker hobbies…
#hackers, #hackersmovie, #zerocool, #vcr still broke but the #dvd player works.
A virtual certificate with text "Celebrating 10M users on Bluesky, #374,822, Andrew P @echodaemon.bsky.social, joined on Jul 25, 2023"
Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #374,822!
Heh, I thought I joined much later than most. Neat.
Mood when each streaming service hits $20 to $35 monthly.
v0.4 of bsky.tel is live, now with the ability to load threads from timelines!
when you're going through a home timeline, just press "C" for context; it'll load the thread in reverse order
Lol, love that I got handed a badge attachments at San Japan. Apparently if you are the picture taker or backpack mule for con swag you might get lucky to get noticed by other “con spouses”
One of my favorite stickers from defcon this year.
I have a love/hate with all platformers. I have mini-rages on rogue-like games
Aw boo
sign for "dolores restaurant". it's partly burnt out, but the res of dolores and the taurant of restaurant are still lit, making it still say"dolores restaurant" if read vertically

image of a coffee mug on a discount shelf. It reads THE FUTURE IS and the bottom has been covered with a red discount sticker that reads REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE $2.
Happy Zero Cool day to those who celebrate it.
New favorite sticker! Defcon sticker swap never fails to impress me.
