I don't really have the words for the last two weeks. It's been a LOT.

Today I have decided to focus on uni, attend all the uni lectures live rather than watch recordings later, sit about in my PJs and do maths.

Gotta say, best decision I've made in ages.

Image of the Sun looking like an orange ball with dark spots on it. The spots are cooler regions known as sunspots. A tiny blue dot has been added to show size of Earth.

๐Ÿ”ญ Perspective. Here's today's Sun. I added a blue dot near the middle to indicate the size of Earth.

I'm so glad you're on top of this! It could've been chaos if I'd have been in charge!!

Lucky enough to spend the day at the Bishopsgate Institute in London yesterday for work. It was absolutely magic. A few of us got the chance to do the tour of the archives too, which was incredible.
Such an important place, full of real life stories of protest and history and sex and relationships!

It was exciting to see.

With beta, is the second star inside the accretion disk or behind it? Is it losing energy to the first star?

So fascinating, that whole constellation is really cool.

Yesss! That must be it. So glad my teacher wasn't making stuff up. Haha!

Epsilon Lyrae is the famous Double Double star

Aha! Maybe it was epsilon Lyrae:

Ooooooh maybe !! It was a big telescope (at UCL Observatory) so perhaps it was showing some other stars in the similar area and our guide just attributed those to beta lyrae to tell us about it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Probably not the first time a teacher has done that.

Sheliak (beta lyrae) because I thought it was a star and then I looked at it through a telescope and found out it's actually two stars...like twins pretending to be one person.

Jeff Brazier crying at Bobby's debut Strictly performance is the purest thing I've seen on telly in ages.

Absolutely gorgeous episode all round but that was a wonderfully human moment. ๐Ÿ’•

Just got home from ballet and slammed on Strictly from the beginning of course! Looks like a great bunch this year.

Always seems so unfair for some of them to get the really tough dances on Week 1. I imagine you'd just wanna redo a bunch of early dances once you'd been in training for a few weeks.

Hear me out...I started a Gratitude Journal last month and it's genuinely changing my brain chemistry.

I didn't spend money on one of the fancy ones, I just bought a nice notebook and stole these prompts from one of the expensive ones I saw for sale.

Highly recommend. #nobravado
