We circulated a transit policy survey to all MP candidates in Scarborough Southwest and University-Rosedale ahead of the 2026 Federal by-elections on April 13.

We received responses from the NDP and Green campaigns in both ridings. Liberals provided written statements. No response from the Cons.

Friendly reminder that the Ford government cut $1 billion from TTC subway maintenance in 2019, and that the federal government just cut $5 billion from public transit funding in Canada, money the TTC could have used to fix their state of good repair backlog.

This is an account close to the Iranian leadership. We are now seeing the shape of why Iran agreed so enthusiastically to this "ceasefire".
