Morgan McSweeney to give evidence on Mandelson vetting row The prime minister's former chief of staff will face questions about his role in the appointment of Lord Mandelson.

Imagine if BBC just once pursued Farage like they are Starmer re Mandleson

Over allegedly dodging £40K in stamp duty (same sum as Rayner)

Or donations from Russia & Orban

Untraceable Crypto donations

Breaking MP rules 17 times

Antisemitic racist school days

But nah 24 hours & they’re smothered

Farage missing from #PMQs, just like he was missing from the security vetting statement yesterday.

Anywhere that’s not Clacton or Parliament!

#pmqs BRILLIANT from Starmer , taking no more crap from Badenoch and her cronies.. and , thanks to a full range of questions from Labour MPs and others , able to demonstrate with facts and figures how much Labour is already doing to improve all our lives .. which is the REAL job !

I can't say I agreed with his characterisation of Starmerites as seeing SKS as a "Messiah" He's not & I don't see him as anything other than a competent, decent, compassionate human being who is wholeheartedly committed to doing the best for the UK. IMHO he is the best PM we're blessed to have now.

With each of Badenoch’s idiotic performances, Keir Starmer grows stronger and stronger.
SKS: “Whatever noise they make, nothing is going to distract me from delivering for our country.” #UKPolitics

🚨Brits still think Keir Starmer is a more capable PM than Farage and Badenoch would be!
It's not all doom and gloom for the PM.

Given the lack of BBC coverage of all the really dire Refuk candidates that actually passed their vetting, I'm surprised Farage hasn't tweeted a 'thank you for your inattention to this matter' message.

So right

Now Keir Starmer has answered his question.

Let’s turn to Nigel Farage

1. Who paid for your house?
2. Why did you say the same as Nathan Gill who is in prison for taking bribes?
3. Have you paid for that Street’s energy Bills?
4. Has Dickie Tice paid his tax bill yet?

When Russia wants Starmer out you know who is spreading misinformation and is funding a supportive right wing government in the UK. The media owners are complicit in this anti UK profoundly unpatriotic behaviour.

Remember when Richard Tice and Isabel Oakeshott said Angela Rayner should resign over a £40K stamp duty underpayment — because “integrity and moral decency” made it “morally indefensible”?

Their spectacular U-turn suggests only one thing: their principles were never priceless — just priced.

We now have an entire media who would rather see a Farage govt, leading to the demise of the NHS and an alliance with the far right US Christian Nationalist fuckers than support the govt we elected And its drift towards EU alignment
Putin must be laughing his head off.

The joint statement put out by the UK and France last week following their hosting of over 50 countries in a summit on what to do about the Strait of Hormuz keeps getting more signatures.

When I first posted, it had 16. It is now signed by 28 nations.

Great to see the UK & France leading...

I bet Badenoch asks the same questions as earlier. Doesn’t seem to understand her pale hectoring imitation of Thatcher is destroying the party and her own credibility within it.

Media thoroughly disappointed this morning. As Starmer wakes up and gets ready for another day in Office.

PMQs to prepare for. An Opposition Leader to be verbally crucified again.

More discussions on Straits of Hormuz. An economy to keep working. Ordinary people to look after

Let’s hope that includes the opposition to the UK joining too.

Labour announce a leak investigation into how the media were passed information on Mandelson's vetting, when ministers were not.

It was announced during the debate in Parliament yesterday during the response by the Chief Secretary to the PM near the end of the debate..

Must be fake news after all both Hesgeth and Trump says the Iranian navy has been totally destroyed and lies at the bottom of the sea. Or could it be the US navy is too scared to escort or protect ships in the Straits as the truth is very different.

The media’s hounding of the most productive PM in the last 15 years is a national disgrace.

This government has already delivered 20 manifesto pledges, 41 more are on course for completion before end of Parliament. Here’s a few that are well on the way to being delivered

The hearing proved that Starmer didn’t lie

It showed that he didn’t take money or bribes or made any money from this appointment

He wanted to get on the good side of Trump and help the uk

Politically naive, yes
Systems not brilliant, yes
Corrupt and fraudulent, no
