Wow, look at that shading ๐ Beautiful ink, beautiful writing.

An A5 graph paper notebook, with a list of pens and ink colours. 7 fountain pens at the bottom of the page.
A belated currently inked fountain pen list for September. Bringing in a few autumnal tones
When Ayuso DNSs/DNFs tomorrow
I really enjoy mine - nice paper, fun covers, feeling like part of the cool crowd! - but I'm not sure it's actually worth the expense and hype.... After a couple of years of Hobonichi, I'm switching to Kinbor A6 next year. They're not quite as lovely, but a whole lot cheaper.
2026 kinbor weekly planner
Paper test, weekly
Ghosting and bleeding in the weekly paper with fountain pens - but handles ballpoint, highlighter etc well.
It's so disappointing that the paper has changed. I ordered my 2026 kinbor weeks before I realised that the paper had changed, and I only use fountain pens. Luckily the A5 & A6 page per day books are still excellent, so that's what I'm using next year.
You're right, it doesn't feel balanced when posted. I never post full sized pens though, so it doesn't bother me..
Irritating. I've seen quite a few complaints about Nahvalur nibs. I'm crap at nib tuning (and I don't think you should have to fix brand new pens!) so I'm avoiding them. Very pretty designs though....

Fountain pen with lid on, resting on notebook
Really enjoying the beautiful simplicity of this Rotring 600 fountain pen. It writes like a dream, and I can pretend I'm a cool architect type when I'm using it....
That is gorgeous! Does it take a Jowo 6 nib? (I have a custom ground one looking for a home, and would ideally like something more affordable than another Esterbrook)
Lovely inks, thank you for sharing.
They would have accepted a return.. but the nib did work, just didn't feel quite 'right' to me so I hesitated and didn't send it back! I've swapped it out (very easy), but will take it to a nib specialist at some point and get it tinkered with.
Yes, it's a small, light pen but it feels good in my (fairly large!) hands. I own too many fountain pens, but reach for this one often!
I did have trouble with the original nib it came with, and have swapped it out entirely now, which was disappointing for an expensive (to me!) pen.
Picture of pink fountain pen, with lid posted, next to a ruler
It's a small pen - I don't usually post pens, but I do with this one! Just over 14cm when posted, just under 12 without.
Pelikan M400 gold nib in pink M205 Pelikan fountain pen. Resting on a work in progress paper with orange (Yu Yake ink!) edits.
Pink fountain pen, nib towards the camera.
Beautiful pen, nib and ink combination to brighten up a seriously dull morning at work.
Apricot M200 fountain pen. Skin coloured, but still beautiful ๐คฃ
Gah, I still want it ๐ญ
Two Pelikan M200/205 fountain pens. One orange and one pink.
I think it looks lovely and almost pre ordered it! I hadn't even considered that it's skin coloured ๐
I just think it would look neat between my two other M200s...

Beautiful colours, all of my favourites! I'm very glad it's working for you now.
What ink are you going to pair it with?
She's lovely! Not your first Black Robin Pen, I think? They're very beautiful pens.

A belated currently inked fountain pen list for July. Not much change from last month because I'm just so happy with them all.
Purple fountain pen with a gold band.
Nib shot!

I've just added this beauty to my collection. My first Ebonite fountain pen, an Esterbrook Model J in violet. I'm really enjoying exploring special nib grinds. This one is going to be fitted with a dentist or cursive italic nib from Galen Leather.
Crikey, that is beautiful.

As someone who has experienced both winning a national Tour and losing a Grand Tour in similar circumstances I can appreciate the emotions involved. ๐๐
List of pens and inks in multi colours.
Writing sample with two blue fountain pens. Architect style nibs.
A close up of Estie Blue Moon fountain pen.
Currently inked for a new month. Very restrained by usual standards!
Plus a writing sample from my new Estie fountain pen with a scribe nib. It's fantastic, I'm so pleased with it. No scratchiness, just a sharp, clean joy to write with.
Yes, I thought I wanted fine nibs when I first started using fountain pens again. The more I write, the more I love broader nibs and seeing more ink on the page.
