Decades of evidence show that immigrants make disproportionate contributions to scientific discovery and technological advancement. As of 2019, nearly one in four STEM workers in the United States was foreign-born.
Scientists cannot afford to treat this as someone else’s issue.
I need to aggiornamento Ariel on the significance of that term
As individual actors, scientists are not positioned to stand up to a coordinated federal assault, but COLLECTIVELY SCIENTISTS HAVE POWER. This power comes from organization... especially unions.

This is an easy one, Jameson. JUST SAY NO.
"J. Larry Jameson said the school will evaluate a proposed compact from President Donald Trump’s administration based on the school’s values and mission...
freedom of inquiry and thought, free expression, non-discrimination" share.inquirer.com/jTf7PW
"Each concession leaves institutions more entangled with the federal government and more vulnerable to future coercion. Resistance must be strong, early, and sustained, or the space for resistance will vanish."
