My guy is diabetic so his eyes deteriorated on the fast side, and we were able to keep him comfy with eyedrops for ~a year. Hopefully your cat will fare better! Meanwhile it’s inspiring to watch them adjust to loss of vision—humans could learn a lot from pets’ resilience.

We had my dog’s eyes removed in November—he’s so much happier now that he’s no longer in pain. It wasn’t an easy decision but I’m glad we did it. Hope your kitty has many good days ahead!
