「90日有効なビザをオーバーステイした」という話なので、ESTAで入国してアメリカ国内でGCに切り替え途中だったんじゃないかと思います。婚姻ベースのGC申請の怖い点なのですが、途中でビザスポンサーが死亡すると、（入国したときのビザが切れていたら）アウトなんですよね。息子が郵便をインターセプトして必要な書類が届いてなかったとかいう話もあるらしく、かなり泥沼みたいです。息子はlaw enforcementに個人的なつながりがあるらしく、いろいろ入れ知恵する人がいたんじゃないかと思います。

最初、マルチミリオンダラーの遺産かとワクワクしながら読み始めたんですけど、これってあまりに気の毒。。。

カトリックで2024年にトランプに投票した有権者とハリスに投票した有権者が最近どう考えているか、フォーカスグループを分析したものをちょっと聞いてたんだけど、トランプ派の特徴とされた点が興味深い
・宗教を自己の内面のものではなく、外界に向けてアピールするためのシグナル、いわば贔屓チームのユニフォームのように捉えている
・被害者意識が強く、絶えず強い、怒ったようなトーンで発言する
・トランプとレオ教皇ではトランプに従う
・トランプとキリスト（例の「赤十字の医者」AI slop）ではキリストを優先するが、なんらかの口実を見つけてトランプを擁護しようとする
