Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone else, it’s TOP SECRET!

And, for the love of god, try to understand that if we take the money we should be spending on climate mitigation, and spend it on weapons, then we are guaranteeing the extinction of the "national way of life" we declare ourselves ready to die to protect.
This is awful 😢
Absolutely disgusting to hear this!
A sign on the fence of a graveyard. It reads "No use of geiger counters on church property."
This sign raises many questions, which probably should be answered by the sign but aren't
Does it? I’ll be interested to see it and where it misses his many contradictions!
It sounds very interesting, I hope I can see it. I am reading ‘Wifedom: Mrs Orwell’s invisible life’ by Anna Funder and this is very interesting on the contradictions of George Orwell too.
This shouldn’t be controversial: water should be publicly owned.
I’ve spent years fighting for that in Parliament.

We are spooky here!
I don't know how to clip a segment (sorry), but the bit I really want you to watch starts at 29'10". It's about the deep roots of the attack on Iran and why it's just as well Starmer is "no Winston Churchill". I'm surprised this aspect isn't more widely discussed. 🧵

I read this as ‘four hours of stressed out sheep’, which changes the meaning somewhat!

We want the media and politicians to recognise that there is a large number of women who are supportive of the trans+ community. We call on them to report truthfully about the sources of violence against women and to address the systems that perpetuate harm. notinourname.org.uk/petition/not...
Perhaps you don't fancy an AI / military / surveillance company literally run by Oswald Moseley's grandson in charge of your medial records? Just a feeling really...
Waiting & Making - read my blog about trying to be creative when health/NHS waiting lists get in the way. Despite these difficulties, the animated short film I made, ‘I only dream of horses’, has been accepted for @borderlinesff.bsky.social Open Screen rebeccafarkas.blogspot.com/2026/02/wait...
I am very sorry to hear your sad news, Moose. Condolences to you and your family x
These people are poison. They will unleash racist thugs on the streets of this country and call it security. They will subjugate us to the US and call it patriotism. They must be stopped. There is no more important task in politics.
So much better!
I read it decades ago and I don’t remember much, so I am enjoying it anew. I’m about a third of the way in and I think some bad stuff is just about to begin! There hasn’t been any terribly bad behaviour thus far.
I am currently rereading the book and it is sooo good! Absolutely gripping! (I have little idea what the very religious servant, Joseph, is talking about in his strong Yorkshire accent though.)
I will go and see the film at the weekend, but I’m expecting a very different experience.
I rewatched Rear Window recently and I loved her character and performance. She had all the best lines!
Palantir, a US spy-tech firm, has been given access to millions of NHS patient records.
Its founder has said the NHS should be 'ripped up'.
Join me in calling on the government to end the dangerous Palantir contract.
