Note the authentic notification on the right of the screen telling me that I was supposed to be meeting with a master's student, not watching the press conference. She watched with me.
Blog post! Performance of Security at the Drents Museum Helmet Return Press Conference www.anonymousswisscollector.com/2026/04/perf...
Those Carabinieri uniforms are sharp! So...very...tailored...
They "TA-DA'd" the recovered helmet! They even gave it a "drie...twee...een!" before they removed the cloth. Then there was silence followed by a slow, uncertain applause. A very "is this a clapping moment?" vibe from the attendees of the Helmet of Coțofenești press conference.
Performance of security at the press conference to announce the recovery of the stolen Helmet of Coțofenești.

A key thing to remember: this isn't a "promise the outcomes in advance and then deliver them" sort of funding scheme. It is blue skies, high risk-high reward. You imagine what success would mean rather than offer a "sure thing". Mine was very "hey, this is edgy and weird, but could be awesome..."
I did, though a while ago now. This was the project which ended in July: traffickingtransformations.org. There's really no one right way to write an ERC.

I'm sitting here thinking "What is a summer salary?" Like...if you don't get a grant one's summer is just not paid? The university doesn't pay research time...but gets credit for that research?
About 20 years ago I was going to a club in Germany and the bouncer was sitting there reading that book. I told him "OH! I'm from there!". He looked at me with some degree of horror. "I used to work at the theater that Baby got shot outside of, it's a real place..."
A film that takes place where you’re from
Frankly I'm surprised that I didn't know about this already. Also, this is not what I am supposed to be writing about this afternoon...
The internet tells me that "Rexy" is a thing for Coach. If anyone knows of something written about Coach's association with T. rex, please share! I need to read this.
