I recently found a picture of my grandfather's grandmother. She was a real pistol but never traveled much. Her husband (photographer) took a job shooting Truman's inauguration. Hanging behind her rocking chair was a pendant from that inauguration. They were influential business owners in their town.

My grandparents were children in Oklahoma during the Great Depression. My grandma's mother was a widow with 5 children and a 5th grade education. They picked cotton to survive and lived in tents. The way they evaluate it is if a Jewish group has ever donated to AIPAC and that same Jewish group supports a candidate, they count that as an AIPAC donation towards the candidate. It's completely inaccurate and frankly bonkers.

We have Dems in seats South of the Mason Dixon and East of the Mississippi who are governing WELL. They also don't have nazi tattoos, they don't wear hoodies to work, they aren't trolling the current president on social media. They're serious people doing real work and should be supported to do more

Something I see come up every time a Dem in a red state makes a splash is a bunch of people saying "we can't afford to lose their seat in '28." And this is controversial... but talented politicians who can win should run big races and the people and DNC should see their vacancy as an opportunity...

On LinkedIn we are having a very animated discussion bc the EEOC is targeting women’s business networking groups as discriminatory. I assume the same will extend into associations for ethnic minority groups as well though I fully expect they’ll leave the Christian networking groups alone.
