The one thing about Joann Fabrics going out of business is I’ll never overspend on craft stuff again. I can’t find half the things I need much less a bunch of things I don’t.

They only want to eat the rich when the billionaires in question are Beyoncé or MacKenzie Scott or Taylor Swift.

That’s neither here nor there. They pulled out of FL bc a Dem lost a senate race, even though we had a VERY close gubernatorial. They considered us a red state and threw resources at the blue wall states who fucked us all over in ‘24. This is a winnable state if they support us.

If it were a sane person making these claims, I'd be inclined to agree. But Trump's brain is cottage cheese and frankly I just don't think Tim Cook is that stupid. Even if Cook were corrupt, he's not stupid enough to do corrupt things with someone who blabs all the time.

This is peak evangelicalism. That's why I call him an evangelical catholic.

It wasn't even us. We haven't had a functional state level Democratic party since the 90s. And in 2018 after Bill Nelson lost his seat, the DNC decided to stop sending support our way. That is largely why the state turned red from being a swing state.

It's not just the climate that's fucking up the premiums. The state has not set an adequate required amount for the carriers to keep in reserves which is why they went bust after Ian. There are also extremely high rates of fraudulent claims, mostly around roofs, which drives up the potential risk.

No, they want to increase sales tax which places the burden on lower and middle income families.

As a lifelong Florida Dem in a blue city in a blue county, I'm going to say that the Dems are nearly as shite on development as the GOP. They cosign the overdevelopment too under the guise that it will bring housing costs down.

There are a number of inaccurate or misleading pieces of information in this article to the point I think they actually need to remove it.

One of my clients keeps asking me to go to places in Georgia where I have to drive through Tift County. I swear it's so they don't have to take the risk of a speeding ticket 😂

If the DNC thinks this could be a winnable race, they will throw support to that candidate which will help other Dem candidates in local elections.

All these tech bro CEOs are a bunch of losers who can't get laid and want to make it everyone else's problem. Instead of being afraid of their evil plans and pontificating about what this means, point at them and laugh, then go elect people who will cancel all of their contracts.

They want the money without the customers which is not how things work. The bigger the company, the worse it is.

These glasses are a sign the company only hires yes men. Not a soul said "hey, maybe you should go look in the mirror."

Nothing about these glasses suggests "smart."

That's why they're building bunkers.

I recently found a picture of my grandfather's grandmother. She was a real pistol but never traveled much. Her husband (photographer) took a job shooting Truman's inauguration. Hanging behind her rocking chair was a pendant from that inauguration. They were influential business owners in their town.

My grandparents were children in Oklahoma during the Great Depression. My grandma's mother was a widow with 5 children and a 5th grade education. They picked cotton to survive and lived in tents. My grandparents said throughout my life that FDR saved their lives. That's why they were lifelong Dems.

It's quite accurate if you understand methodology, which you clearly do not. And these donations go back over a decade, which is far longer than your bullshit has been going on.

The way they evaluate it is if a Jewish group has ever donated to AIPAC and that same Jewish group supports a candidate, they count that as an AIPAC donation towards the candidate. It's completely inaccurate and frankly bonkers.

I feel like people read that stuff and get paralyzed with fear instead of going "LOL what losers, anyway let's make sure they don't do any of this."

We have Dems in seats South of the Mason Dixon and East of the Mississippi who are governing WELL. They also don't have nazi tattoos, they don't wear hoodies to work, they aren't trolling the current president on social media. They're serious people doing real work and should be supported to do more

My biggest gripe with the DNC is they pulled back support in places they didn't think were winnable and so they became unwinnable due to lack of support. Stacey Abrams did a LOT to fix the voter suppression problem in Georgia and you know what? I'm glad she did but she shouldn't have had to...

Something I see come up every time a Dem in a red state makes a splash is a bunch of people saying "we can't afford to lose their seat in '28." And this is controversial... but talented politicians who can win should run big races and the people and DNC should see their vacancy as an opportunity...

It just goes to show how dumb and antisemitic a lot of people really are. There is significant methodology issues with that group… they classify *any* Jewish group as aipac.

On LinkedIn we are having a very animated discussion bc the EEOC is targeting women’s business networking groups as discriminatory. I assume the same will extend into associations for ethnic minority groups as well though I fully expect they’ll leave the Christian networking groups alone.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump to read Bible for the first time and it will be at a public event.

I don’t know that it’s burnout but I think it’s definitely a conflicting message for them to be told they aren’t doing enough to fight the politicians that were just elected. “The people want/expect” yes but the people just said they wanted fascists.
