Received my first block. How exhilarating lol

Red Flag laws are not only underwhelming, they’ve done nearly zilch to eliminate the threat of public/school shootings. They’re underutilized and lack consistency, a continuous failure of local law enforcement. Snowden made it pretty clear, we need less of that. Monitoring people won’t solve this.

I’m not dancing. You’re saying we can profile these people and stop them. I’m saying we can’t, and won’t be able to because that would involve these alleged suspects to be put under heavy surveillance and scrutiny. Serial killers leave meticulous trails, mass murders kill impulsively and with guns.

I’m pretty well-read on this stuff. Gun reform is ultimately the bottom line of this issue. Many people murder without showing preexisting signs of the McDonald Triad or any typology. Whatever guidelines we impose on others won’t solve the real problem in America.

What would that solve exactly?

Finished reading LM’s three-page declaration. I will be sharing my thoughts soon on my substack. Preface: I understand him. I empathize with him. I don’t disagree with his actions.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.
