True, True!
Or, paraphrasing the immortal words of
Phoebe Waller-Bridge ....
"She looks like a pencil."
Just saw the third production in our neighborhood in two weeks. I think things are picking up around LA, and I cannot be happier, even if it makes it harder for me to find a parking spot on front of my apartment. More film crews in our streets! Up with local productions!

Yes, "The Gunner" was one-of-one when he was calling the games and always gave Roberto his flowers.
Here's my favorite photo of Roberto, as this is where he was in his purest selflessness, teaching the youth.
But he did it not by talking down to them, but by humbly kneeling and talking to them!
True! So True!
The Post-Gazette & the Press were politely snarky to Roberto, from '55 through '72.
Made fun of his mangled English often and seldom
gave him respect because he was too "outspoken."
As a beer vendor, one day I spoke to Roberto in my mangled
Spanish, and he treated me as an equal!

Not only Jackie but dozens more who followed him ....
Roberto Clemente and Hank Aaron to name just two.
Always incensed over blatant racism, Roberto marched with MLK while Hank received over 5,000 pieces of hate mail as
he neared and passed Babe Ruth's home run record.
Mark Rufalo warns Congress against the Paramount-WBD merger:
"You don't have to watch 'Citizen Kane' or read '1984' to understand that the concentrated oligarchic control this merger represents is a threat to a free press, an informed populace & democracy itself."

Mark Ruffalo, Glenn Close, Ben Stiller, Jane Fonda, John Cusack, Kristen Stewart, JJ Abrams, Katie Phang, John Leguizamo, and over a thousand actors, writers, directors, journalists, producers, composers, and Hollywood executives have signed a letter against the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger:

Congrats to the crews behind The Pitt, I Love LA, and all the other projects receiving California’s robust production tax credit. This program brings filming back to CA and LA! (1/2)

Currently reading his book -- "Making Movies" -- and there are so many great stories like the Paddy one.
One of the salient lines in the book is how he and the actors watch the daily rushes together.
Then he compliments them by saying: "Good work. We're all making the same movie."
Exactly!
I'm waiting on TickPick.com to get their Olympic tickets as they have no service fees of any kind.
Stephen,
Congrats, man!

Not surprising that 40% of Americans think that dinosaurs and humans existed at the same time.
A couple years ago, PEOPLE Magazine reported that 50%
of Americans think that Nicaragua is a Tropical Drink!
The irony of street artist Bansky is that he became famous by his creativity and by staying anonymous.
Until last week when Reuters spilled the tea.
Does it matter? Nah, as creativity doesn't have an expiration date.
Especially this one at the Regents Canal in London that he created in 2009!
“I believe strongly that the proposed sale of Warner Bros Discovery to Paramount (deadline.com/2026/02/mass...) will be disastrous for the motion picture and television business on many levels… to a massive loss of jobs, a dramatic increase in consumer prices…”
