Just my personal thoughts tho. It's respectful to be aware of a creator's boundaries. Mine personally are just lax. But also you gotta stop hypothetical scenarios from stopping you from creating.

theres often a worry of artists about their work being misinterpreted but to me im like mischaracterise my characters however you want i am actually correct tho
