Jill Busby Is the Northwest Film Forum’s New Executive Director. Jill Busby wants to restore the film nonprofit to the bustling cultural center it once was.

The change in leadership comes after what has been a challenging couple years for the organization. Though not alone in its struggles, NWFF laid off nearly of its staff a couple of years back. Now, Busby said she is planning to begin hiring more people back soon 📽️

The Engauge Experimental Film Festival returns to Northwest Film Forum NEXT WEEK for its 8th year! The festival celebrates sprocket-driven, artist-made experimental film, presenting six programs of shorts at NWFF’s cinema in Capitol Hill. All work featured in the festival originates on film stock.
