Respect does not end at an arbitrary number that you set. Just because someone has more followers does not mean their feelings stop being valid. It doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to have boundaries. It doesn’t make them less human & it’s shocking to see how some of you treat the people YOU uplift.

I am fascinated by people’s lack of care for consent in the artist space, but it’s a conversation people are very clearly not ready for if we default to calling artists, who ask to respect their boundaries, all the dehumanising names we can possibly come up with.
