This afternoon I have spent 2.5 hours looking up sources, quotes, and so on for just 3 short essays, instead of being able to make headway on marking the work of my own students. All three have committed misconduct.
The thing I hate most about being the Academic Misconduct Officer? How my own marking and work are continually being derailed by having to investigate cheating. I can’t articulate how much I resent it.
