This afternoon I have spent 2.5 hours looking up sources, quotes, and so on for just 3 short essays, instead of being able to make headway on marking the work of my own students. All three have committed misconduct.

The thing I hate most about being the Academic Misconduct Officer? How my own marking and work are continually being derailed by having to investigate cheating. I can’t articulate how much I resent it.
Every time I read a piece about somebody with an “ai-assisted editing process” I feel like I’m watching someone trying to intellectualize a deliberate choice not to think or concentrate
More writing on the wall 🤞🏻
While I agree that Starmer’s decision to appoint Mandelson as Ambassador to the US was an error of judgement, I also understand the tactic of appointing a sleezeball moral vacuum to work with a US government populated by sleezeball moral vacuums…
Hence the giant mass human cognitive deskilling and stupefaction machine so they can make money off it
OpenAI: We’re burning money like the Joker. A miracle needs to happen for us to turn a profit
Microsoft: Please please use our AI systems, we’re teetering on the edge here
Anthropic: I wonder what’ll kill us first: lawsuits, regulations or model collapse
Media and universities: AI is here to stay

Thank you, Hungary ❤️🇭🇺🍾
if they did understand anything, they aren’t interested. Because in addition to their eye watering stupidity, they are corrupt, vile, and disgraceful wastes of the oxygen that decent people could be breathing and they have no business was being in charge of a hamster cage let alone a country.
If you find yourself saying “doesn’t Trump/Vance/the administration understand…” just stop. No. They don’t understand anything. They are the most epically stupid people to ever hold high office. They are surrounded by unqualified hacks interested in nothing but making money for themselves. And even
J.D. Vance appears surprised that America's foreign policy of being violent, greedy, selfish, untrustworthy, and unpredictable makes negotiation difficult 🤷♂️.
So many things are shit at the moment. But at least the apple trees in the park opposite my house have started to blossom.
Will be reopened again. Great. But it was open before Trump started a war!
I dont expect anything approaching a sane response from Republicans. But other world leaders had better not offer this psychopath any praise. I’m looking at you, Starmer!!
Let’s not forget that Trump started the war with Iran. It was completely unnecessary. He shouldn’t get any praise for a ceasefire agreement for an unnecessary war he started and which has resulted in nothing but a degrading of economic, social & political conditions worldwide.
The Strait of Hormuz
How long before he adds this to the list of wars he claims to have single handedly ended?
And the next thing Trump will do will be to add this to the list of wars he’s single handedly ended…

stupid thing to have done in the first place.
retaliation for what the US and Israel (aided by the UK) did.
While Trump will be eager to move on to something else, an already volatile region is in an even worse state, the economic ramifications will last a lot longer, and the Iranian people will suffer the worst consequences.
What a supremely
a worse strategic position as a result and will have to deal with fallout without the help of an unreliable ally; Israel will likely be pissed off by Trump’s decision to move on; and even if Iran doesn’t do the entirely rational thing and pursue a nuclear weapon there is no way there’ll be no
Most likely now is, if the Strait reopens, Trump will move on to something else. While he claims victory he knows it isn’t one. But hardliners in Iran will only have been strengthened by this, which can only be bad news for the Iranian people; America’s Gulf allies have been bombed find themselves
So Trump has taken an off ramp and is of course spinning it as a victory. Problem the world still has though is the US simply can’t be trusted… #Iran #Trump
I think we need to open up a new circle of hell for whoever came up with the “content control” function in Word documents. Reviewing copy edits was annoying enough before!
A jar of Nutella floats in zero gravity behind astronaut Christine Koch on board the Orion capsule.
Nutella: so good you wouldn’t leave Earth without it.
Nutella: Galactically Tasty

Fake! They are nowhere near that close to the moon, nor will they get that close, and nor is the Earth that big.
#Artemis II - Special guest Astronaut ‘Nutella’ getting involved in breaking the Apollo record with its own flyby 😂🚀🌕
This is not AI!! I was watching the stream live and saw the jar of Nutella fly out of the storage compartment that Christine Koch was putting something back in.
Thank goodness someone else watching screenshotted it!
On this historic day, 4 humans and 1 brave jar of Nutella, travelled further away from the earth than any person or condiment has ever travelled. God speed to them all…
… I really hope someone managed to snap a screenshot of the floating jar of Nutella.

There’s no purpose to these policies beyond the shabby & in any event vain hope of gaining votes from racists. They‘ll screw up countless people’s lives for decades & prevent them becoming full members of society as well as damaging the economy. There is no compromising with this & MPs shouldn’t try
party might win from the regional votes who are listed in order of preference set by the party. :)
Numbers have never been my strong point so I get confused over the details of the calculations for list seats. But in essence you get two votes: first for a candidate for your constituency; second for a party in your electoral region. Each party has a list of candidates who will take the seats that
