Recent RVA history: Before they pushed bigger projects, mayors Jones & Stoney pushed for new schools. Jones saw 4 new schools (Broad Rock ES, Oak Grove-Bellemeade ES, MLK MS, Huguenot HS) and Cardinal ES, Henry Marsh ES, and River City MS were built & RHSA was started under Stoney.
