Austria has never closed its Embassy in #Syria. Our Ambassador is in #Damascus and met with representatives of the de-facto authorities, urging for a stable & inclusive political order offering perspectives for all Syrians.
We are working on gradually strengthening our Embassy.
The voice of Georgians demonstrating for democracy and a European future must be heard and respected. Violence against peaceful protesters is not acceptable!
