The govt's ban on new oil and gas licences is just lip service for as long as it plans to introduce ‘tiebacks’. This loophole allows *new* drilling, by connecting new sites to existing ones. This is indefensible when every drop of oil or gas burned puts our future further at risk.

Freedom Pass row: Is it a fair perk or an expensive policy? The Freedom Pass allows residents over 66 to travel across the capital for free.

This sort of thing pings me off, the 60 plus pass isn't free travel, it is subsidized, as one has to pay, a very reduced cost every year, I admit. This is different to free.
