I have no one but myself to blame for this situation, and that, I've made peace with. Like a busted joint that never healed right, I'll muddle on, though. It's a lesson, I suppose - maybe even a cautionary tale. There is no such thing as the fairy tale and to demand otherwise of others is atavistic.
