Feeling ticked off that two semi expensive monitors are failing after a year and a half and that a semi expensive new monitor has quality issues (and was sent back)
I just want working monitors!
I've hinted at it so much there's no point in keeping it under wraps any longer.
For the longest time, I've been working on a way to port GB games to the GBA.
What I ended up building is a modified GB to GBA emulator that targets a fantasy console instead - I call it the GB Bridge.
Typical luck, both my monitors from a year and a half ago failed and I need to call tech support about their warranty and now this new monitor is just a mess with anything that scrolls across the screen, I cant win 😢
Moved on from a life of 1080p monitors to a 1440p one and why did I not do this before, the amount of extra room on the desktop and improved space to use gbstudio is well worth it, less scrolling!
Only negative is my panel has a vertical bar refresh issue so it has to go back this weekend :/
I think i've mentioned before that my monitors from about a year and a half ago were having isues, now my right side monitor just flickers on and off and it's so annoying.
I looked into it and it's something to do with the poor chips that lenovo used in budget models, budget being £140 still...
Always been a fan of Xenoblade 2 and it's dlc but playing my copy of Xenoblade X for the first time this weekend and it scratches that itch for loot collecting and farming for drops i've not had for a long while, I miss games like this.

Long ago I tried to read the first resident evil book, think I made it about quarter in before I stopped but that's me just not being a huge book reader, for what I remember they go into more grim details on deaths and stuff compared to the games.

I've been working on a somewhat ambitious zeldalike for a while now, slow but steady progress.
I've been out of the loop for too long, how are everyone's #gbstudio projects getting along? if you had one that is.
I've not looked into what's cooking out there for at least a year it feels like.
This has been the first full weekend for quite a while that I have tried to keep calm and feel better, and what did I do? gamedev stuff to relax because that's my method.
Now I am just tired mentally again 😩
