as someone who's found a lot of fun diving into the files and textures and radio tracks (of My Summer Car) & studying them closely for the sake of delicately modifying them by hand, i find it not just Upsetting but Insulting that toplessgun has decided it's not worth it to put his own effort into the character of his game. you don't have to accept the "future" of genAI in videogames, and i think it's especially important to push back against that in a "homemade" genre like indie games, where devs with no money may feel enticed to use the "make it for me" button. i play indies for the passion and the love and the human nature devs put into their work, not because i want more chores-slop on ice. i will not be purchasing or playing My Winter Car and i'd encourage you not to as well.
