My dad called me last night. Only the 2nd time that I can remember him crying. My grandmother is losing her mind and her body is failing. She’s coming to the end… and she’s often been unkind and always distant. I wish I knew her better. I wish my grief wasn’t so complicated.

I can’t explain why, but Adam Driver has always sounded to me like a British person doing an ok American accent.
