I remember that and was mystified at the time! 😄

How /why do you think he came to support such a premise?

I think those Econ Profs needed to get out more. Anyone who spoke with an athlete when they were allowed outside of USSR/E Germany, etc would have a pretty clear picture of how grim the situation was in the 80s.

We are sitting on a Field of Victory! After a nearly 3 month ordeal involving multiple international shipping carriers, literally dozens of phone calls and emails, the gracious help of the folks at bitsofwar.com/3-kromlech?s... as well as the US Supreme Court , I finally have my awesome Ork Bitz!

Yes. The real secret of Gaslands is that once your F&F are aware that you play this “little game with HotWheels cars” they start bringing you all kinds of fun stuff from supermarket checkout displays, garage sales, thrift shops, etc.

Welcome to a fun game and hobby! I was aware of the game for years whilst doing “other games” and I finally decided to stop “not getting into it” and I’m immensely pleased that I finally did.

A tiny Skull Shaker HotWheels car with plenty of space to load up with little Grots, and a fajita truck which is great because I used to frequent an excellent fajita truck in El Segundo when I lived in LA.

On a completely unrelated subject: For all of my amici italiani out there, I’m taking my mom to Rome for a few days and always on the lookout for excellent places for dinner. All insights appreciated.

OK, so I had this chunk left over after cutting the top off for the Waaaaagh! Rig. As mentioned previously, resin + jewelers saw = beautifully clean cuts, so I loaded up the third War Trukk kab with magnets, and the Orks are in bizness! Two trukks, a War Rig and a bunch of interchangeable parts.

My theory is that there are approximately the same number of good films each year no matter what decade you are thinking of, ie two or three. In recent years, the zone is so flooded with garbage that it’s difficult to evaluate the situation.

Most definitely! I was inspired by your GeneCult cars when I was first getting into Gaslands.

What’s fun about using 40k bitz is that they are “too big” for Gaslands, but sometimes “too big” is just about right (particularly for Orks) 🏁😄

I will check it out…I really dig the Nordic genre, and you have done it masterfully.

This looks positively wonderful. What game system is this?

Looks like an excellent day. Did I read it correctly that a 72mm figure of Napoleon would be judged in the same category as a fantasy giant as they are the same size (“scale”)?

That’s what of the (many) things I love about resin models…how nicely they cut and drill.
