i think when the three of them are together, they speak mostly Common and some i guess…”standard”?? Elvish (as i hc Shadowheart as being more confident understanding Elvish than speaking it, but this changes over time as she reconnects with it). though i think SH comes to understand their (2/3)
thinking about those ways of speaking people inevitably absorb from those they spend a lot of time around and i love imagining Shadowheart picking up and using words/phrases unique to Sel’s dialect of Elvish, either from Sel using them with her or by listening to Sel speak with her aunt (1/3)
