Is this a thing? Reports from my sister's family is that any event with pencils is delayed 20 minutes as the kids sharpen pencils.

All thanks to Trump, of course - who dropped sanctions on Russian oil. And to thank his orange vassal, Putin is sending arms and support to Iran.

It's pretty hard to win a war when you're funding both sides.

✏️ Draw your comfort characters like this

Stayed up way too late for this but I have no regrets

Lion Sora not pictured because he forgot what time they had to leave the hotel and went downstairs for continental breakfast (they had to turn around to get him, Sans slept in and made them late anyway)

DOORDASH DRIVER: I really don't have an opinion on that. I'm here about no tax on tips.

the Soros conspiracy coming from Elon in particular is just embarrassing. you’re worth like 80x what Soros is buddy, if you thought he was buying elections you could snap your fingers and fix it.

I saw some cactus printed I liked in the hall, and then found even more I liked on their studio.

Talked to a wonderful sculptor, unfortunately I forget his name!

There was some cool military art in each stairwell, when I asked about it I learned it was by the director of the facility. When I met him later I learned he had moved on from it but I hope to find it.

I saw some coasters I really liked, but they were only available as a set and we're too pricey.

Had a very nice but expensive day.
My keyboard died last night after 9 years of use.
So I went to Microcenter and got myself a nice replacement.

Nearby was what I thought was a Montessori having an art walk. So I stopped in and it was actually the incredible Goldmark Cultural Center! So much art!

Folks, the Hungarians just ousted Orban after he spent a decade and a half consolidating power. The odds the Hungarian resistance faced were far worse than what we’re facing in the US. Like abolitionists and civil rights activists have learned here, everything seems impossible until it isn’t.

JUST IN: Viktor Orban conceded his defeat in Hungary.

The far-right leader & Trump ally will no longer be prime minister.

What remains to be seen is the size of his defeat — and whether the opposition wins a supermajority to amend the constitution and reverse Orban’s rule.

The post appears to already be gone. But plenty of papers reporting on this.

Just crazy.

From this day in 2021: My nephews were curious about Final Fantasy after seeing a Moogle I drew and I described Chocobos as looking "kind of like Big Bird" so then I had to draw it.

Every single one of the astronauts who went to the moon and back on Artemis II was educated at a public school.

Thinking of the teachers who poured into Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen tonight. You helped send a kid to the moon!

If Los Angeles City Attorney Hydee Feldstein-Soto was written as a character in a courtroom TV drama, nobody would believe it.

With a backstory like this, the writers 100% would have to give her a story arc about a bonkers data leak.

Unfortunately it’s all real.

Netflix has announced they have scrapped plans to adapt the Redwall books and will not be moving forward with its film or television adaptations. I'm disappointed by this knowing Patrick McHale was working on this at one point, but not surprised knowing Netflix. Such a shame.
