I think nowadays there are new people joining the miniature hobby, so even though there are lots of older people I think I am no longer the exception. I started building and painting when I was still in college.

But I am 29 until next year.

My age is in my description and it is up to date, so no need to ask, although I don't see that kind of questions as a problem to be honest.

1,6m tall, I think that is roughly 5'3. Why?

For something professional, I would say that all costs should be considered. People have mentioned the hourly rate, but not the fact that it also needs to include the materials and other expenses that you have while painting. Do you use GW paints or would another brand be usable? Just as an example.

Yesterday I decided to start a new game in Sims 4 and so I spent some time trying to make the sim look roughly like me, haircut and glasses included. Don't worry the sim last name is not my real last name. The t-shirt/shorts outfit is not accurate yet, but should be soon, given the weather lately.

It is just a metallic blue paint really, nothing too complex. Obviously I will need to make sure they remain shiny when I apply the varnish at a later point.

Today I managed to finish some Stargrave Scavengers. Next on my queue are some conversions based on the Scavengers and parts from the Barbarian and Cultist kits.

Or something like "Solo girl having fun" and it is just me painting or building miniatures. I am not sure if that would lead to a lot of enraged responses or to a humorous new niche in terms of onlyfan related content 😁 2/2

I don't have the body or the confidence to have something like an onlyfans, but imagine if it was just something miniature related with bait titles like girl riding purple dragon, which would be me painting a mini dragon with a woman riding it like those AoS or KoW minis. 1/2

I agree but not all of the things I need to base would actually belong to the same army, so still a few unified schemes that I would need to come up with.

The only way you can get something painted with zero skill is if you pay someone else to do it for you. Everyone can paint something with their skill level. Whether that matches the level they would like to be able to paint is a different thing. But skill needs time and experience to grow.

Still need to think about what I will do in terms of basing when I get to that point. One solution fits all kind of thing, or something custom for each type of unit/base model? Something more rocky or perhaps vegetation? Will certainly have to do some experiments before I start 🤔

Unlike Stargrave kits, however, the women in Frostgrave have narrower arms and shoulder connections, so that would be the limiting factor in terms of conversions, but still manageable with some greenstuff 2/2

I only have the models, so I can comment on the game itself, but the Frostgrave kits are great. Some of the older kits have less variety in terms of arms/weapons, like the Soldiers and the Cultists, but in general they are easy to work with and are compatible with other kits. 1/2

In the past pretty much all options were separate metal kits and retailers often bought a few of each and rarely restocked, so with plastic kits there might be some variants in the same kit and be easier to stock regularly (as people will buy them more often).

I just read this announcement a few minutes before I saw this and I must say that this is great and might also make it easier to get the heavy weapons from retailers.

You can still use superglue with plastic if you miss gluing your finger :P

I am glad today Bluesky has been working as usual. Yesterday I wasn't able to see miniatures on my feed and that saddened me. Lets hope this doesn't become a new trend.
