Map showing the western United States mean temperature for January to March 2026 relative to a 1991-2020 departure.

Almost the entire Western United States is averaging more than 5°F warmer than the most recent 1991-2020 climate baseline so far in 2026, which is truly remarkable. Off the color scale here!

This photo may not look like much, but it’s very exciting— we are now able to charge our car on our 100% off-grid solar set-up.

The Senate took a reckless action. This hurts.

225,000 acres impacted
650,000 public comments ignored
A foreign mining company now has a clear path forward

We’re angry. Not done.

A $150,000 match is live. Every dollar is doubled to power the fight ahead.

The Senate is deciding the future of the Boundary Waters right now. We don’t know the outcome yet, but either way, we’re showing up at the Capitol next week! We’ll either be celebrating OR turning out stronger than ever. https://www.facebook.com/share/1XiVXh6jAg/

Burcum: Will the Senate betray the Boundary Waters? This is not a drill: The Senate is poised to blow up Boundary Waters mining protections, columnist Jill Burcum writes.

Do we really want to live in a country where our most treasured wild places can be stripped of their protections at any moment? #BWCA www.startribune.com/us-senate-up...

The Boundary Waters don’t just belong to Minnesotans. They’re the birthright of every single American.

Why would we let a foreign mining company ruin them just so they can mine OUR resources, ship them off to China and enrich their shareholders?

I read somewhere that hitting 28 days is key because that is when the first round of cells replace themselves, and it gets easier. You got this! 💪♥️

If you think it is necessary to be on Twitter to communicate your fact-based worldview, the reality is that worldview is being smothered.

You probably are a fast reader. And reading books out loud is definitely slower.

Pacing aside, I never like audio books because the narrator doesn't "perform" the lines the way I believe the characters would say them. My imagination is always better.

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.

This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
